Amentum has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Maintenance Coordinator​ to join their team in Alice Springs, NT - Australia.

THE ROLE

Responsible for the coordination and execution of work orders and maintenance to be completed by contractors external to Amentum, the Maintenance Coordinator is an integral part of the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team. O&M provide preventative and reactive maintenance to multiple facilities. The Maintenance Coordinator role is focused on the development of statements of work and subsequent vendor selection to complete maintenance on a wide variety of facility systems and the coordination of subsequent execution of work. This role is suited to candidates with excellent attention to detail, critical thinking skills with a trade or facilities background and experience in business administration, or project management. This role offers a high level of autonomy and reports to O&M maintenance superintendents.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Statement of work development

  • On-site liaison with contractors, coordination of execution and inspection of completed works

  • Respond to contractor-initiated requests for information

  • Tender response review for technical acceptability

  • Job status tracking and reporting to O&M leadership

  • Provide guidance for invoice processing and reconciliation with O&M administrative personnel

  • Development and revision of relevant O&M processes

  • Ensure contractor compliance with all site security and environmental health and safety requirements

  • Provide assistance to O&M Superintendents as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Essential

  • Certificate IV relating to Business Administration or Project Management

  • Equivalent demonstrated experience

Desirable

  • Under Graduate Qualifications in Business Administration or Project Management

  • Trade Certificate

  • Drivers Licence

EXPERIENCE – Minimum Essential

  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in administration management and/or project management, with a broad understanding of programs of similar size and complexity. High level communication skills, detail orientation and the preparation of documents are critical to successful performance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS

  • The position is desk based and sedentary in nature, the ability to lift items up to 5kgs may be required occasionally.

  • Attention to detail and high concentration levels are required along with the ability to multitask and perform thorough decision-making processes

STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 18 years of age.

  • Able to fluently read, write and speak English

  • Australian or US citizen

EHS REQUIREMENT
