Amentum Senior Maintenance Officer in Alice Springs, Australia

The Senior Maintenance Officer position at Amentum involves overseeing trades and team members responsible for preventative/reactive maintenance and minor project work on the customer’s housing portfolio. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams to achieve work outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

  • Oversee execution of work schedules for the team.

  • Streamline processes within the maintenance team, focusing on customer service.

  • Ensure team compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Manage work orders and budgets through SAP.

  • Step into the role of Maintenance Supervisor or Senior Maintenance Officer in times of absence.

  • Promote a positive image when dealing with internal and external customers.

  • Undertake operational tasks consistent with supporting the mission.

  • Demonstrate a positive approach toward Equal Employment Opportunity and Equity principles.

  • Show awareness of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Trade qualifications background (e.g., Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry).

  • Desirable: Experience in SAP and knowledge of Facilities maintenance and operations.

  • Exceptional customer service, communication skills, and time management.

  • Ability to lead by example and work with diverse customers and team members.

  • Previous administrative experience with a focus on customer service.

  • Valid driver’s license and relevant licenses (e.g., Working at Heights, Heavy Ridged, Skid Steer).

  • At least 3 years experience planning and overseeing work schedules for a team
