Amentum Sr. Database Engineer in Dahlgren, Virginia
We are looking for an experienced database engineer/programmer with solid Linux system engineering skills.
You will be assisting be working with a team to:
Design, build, and maintain SQL-based application infrastructure
Provide data modeling experience
Support distributed data persistence and reporting
Configure relational database servers for data collection and analysis
Provide customer with a stable, optimally designed, tested and implemented database environment that allows collection and analysis of diverse data.
Ensure that all databases environments are deployed, maintained and managed via proactive monitoring of performance and capacity planning.
Interface with application development, testing, and operational support teams on production/development issues to ensure that all database related
issues are resolved to achieve customer objectives successfully.
