Amentum Site Lead in El Centro, California

Amentum is currently seeking a Site Lead in support of the FRCASE Organizational and Intermediate maintenance facility in El Centro, California.

Primary duties include but are not limited to:

  • Managing and coordinating production and maintenance activities involving 20 + personnel.

  • Determine work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow, assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.

  • Prepares composite reports from individual reports and subordinates.

  • Reviews work orders, tracks labor and material request for accuracy.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations, direct liaison to the US Government.

  • Directly responsible for ensuring that all Amentum and government safety policies and procedures are followed.

  • Responsible for maintaining the work force.

  • Reports directly to the FRCASE Program Manager.

  • Responsible for weekly, monthly contract required reports submittals to the customer.

Work environment is typical office and industrial facility.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Ability to pass government and company background checks to obtain a common access card.

  • Minimum of 5 years' production background with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety, operation and maintenance instructions, processes, and procedures.

  • Ability to communicate at all levels effectively before management, customers, and employees.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as man-hour standards and percentage.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

  • Must be able to read and understand English.

  • Must be able to make sound decision and strong interpersonal skills while representing the company in a positive manner.
