Amentum Installation Status Reviewer in Hawthorne, Nevada

Amentum is seeking an Installation Status Reviewer to join our team in Hawthorne, Nevada to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. The Installation Status Review will be a key staff member of the Maintenance and Facilities team that collects and evaluates data at all levels, evaluating installation facility conditions and adequacy and will identify improvement costs used to repair or renovate facilities according to Army Standards. Measures current and future installation mission support and sustainability capabilities in addition to environmental quality.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Typical Responsibilities Include :

  • Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.

  • Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations.

  • May work individually or with a team member.

  • May be required to work overtime or varying hours to include shift work.

  • Be at work when scheduled and maintain a good attendance record.

  • Work near and or in an ammunition/explosive’s demilitarization facility.

  • Collects and evaluates data at all levels, improving management and decision making across the Depot by providing information on the condition and readiness of the facilities and services and by measuring performance and readiness against Army-wide standards. Conducts inventory, confirms location, validates physical inventories, location match/audits, and quality control programs. Coordinates inventories and location audits for other DOD agencies. Physically look, count, and record items.

  • Evaluates installation facility condition and adequacy. Identifies improvement costs used to repair or renovate facilities according to Army Standards. Measure current and future installation mission support and sustainability capabilities in addition to environmental quality.

  • Determine the quality and reports the cost of base support functions and provides the basis for the development of funding requirements. Report, verbally and in writing, any deviations, discrepancies, safety or quality violations or non-standard practices occurring as a result of maintenance activities. Verify remediation efforts which result from such reports. Certify maintenance is conducted in compliance with established standards.

  • Report of Survey, Inventory Adjustment Reports, Contract Data Requirement List. Conduct inventory location validation-physical inventories, location match/audits, and quality control programs. Prepare correspondence and reports for the organization. Must be able to operate computer connected terminal device. Responsible for reporting potential real environmental concerns to the Environmental Service.

  • Work in conjunction with other departments, sometimes reporting to other supervisors for an extended period

  • May be required to assist in job training

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Good writing and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid State driver’s license.

  • Must also be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of government security clearance as well as a clearance through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and be favorably vetted through the NCIC III System.

  • Must be a United States or naturalized citizen able to obtain and maintain Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD) site access.

  • Must be computer literate in common software applications and able to operate general office equipment for efficient medical clinic functions.

  • Must maintain fitness-for-duty standards to perform the essential functions of the position, to include any HWAD drill, contingency and/or emergency requirement.

  • Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all certifications as required by the Master Training Plan.

Desired Qualifications

  • Good clerical skills with data processing skills required.

  • Candidate must have good working knowledge of excel spreadsheets and report query building.

  • Applicant must be thoroughly familiar with scheduling and production control procedures and policies.

  • Experience in Inventory/Construction trades desired. Previous Inventory experience desirable.

Safety Sensitive Position

This position is designated as non-safety sensitive position and is subject to the requirements of the HWAD Medical Surveillance Plan and Matrix and the HWAD A&D Program. As a condition of employment, candidates and incumbents must favorably complete a personnel security investigation, urinalysis testing, respiratory screening, and must meet and maintain personnel suitability and reliability requirements established by the Hawthorne Army Depot Commander and HWAD O&M contract requirements.
