Amentum Receptionist in Huntsville, Alabama

Provides receptionist support. Answers telephones, screens calls, and directs to proper office. Will meet and greet visitors, ascertain business needs, and directs to proper office. Will receive and distributes packages. May prepare outgoing courier packages and operate the Federal Express equipment. Maintains and distributes phone list(s). May be required to perform light typing, as required. May prepare and distribute standard report(s). Processing building access forms with Amentum Security to include taking photos. Escorting COPT Maintenance staff during business hours as needed.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Must have High school diploma and/or GED equivalent.

Demonstrated multi-phone line experience.

Will require good interpersonal skills and telephone manner, and demonstrated light typing skills.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, kneeling, standing, and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
