Amentum Financial Analyst (w/m/x) in Kraków, Poland
For our Global Delivery Organization (GDO) in Krakow we are currently looking for a Financial Analyst
This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Financial Analyst. You will become a key member of our Financial Planning and Analysis team, supporting the organization’s financial objectives. This position offers the chance to join a growing department, expand your financial expertise, and collaborate with a high-performing team.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating monthly and quarterly reporting for ES&T, participating in month end activities, providing various month end financial analysis
Collaborating and partnering with Finance Business Partners to prepare weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting at BU level and assessing business trends
Performing various analysis across Business Units and for ES&T, suggesting potential improvement to existing reports, responding to emerging reporting needs (Excel, Power BI)
Reviewing monthly financial adjustments and assessing areas for improvement
Supporting financial planning and forecasting processes
Assisting in managing G&A costs by maintaining in house OH Projects
Participating in internal and external audits
Ensuring best practice is implemented and maintained in line with company requirements, audit requirements, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and US GAAP
Master's degree in Finance or Accounting, equivalent major or equivalent experience ( 2 - 4 years, preferably in multiple areas GL, AP, PA, FA)
Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
Strategic thinking combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills by proactively reviewing financial data to make recommendations
Working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle) and significant, advanced Excel skills with the proven ability to analyze large data sets
Knowledge of VBA and Power BI will be a strong asset
Strong computer skills & comfortable adapting to new platforms
Ability to engage stakeholders and to build appropriate partnerships
Good time management skills to manage a complex workload, prioritize and set deadlines and cope with conflicting and changing demands
Ability to effectively handle change and work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines
Willingness to work in global team, mainly in EU time zones with occasional overlap with the US (no late shifts required)
Preferred Qualifications:
