Amentum Pilot Skillbridge Intern in Las Vegas, Nevada
Purpose and Scope:
Learns company pilot job as performed in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Essential Responsibilities:
Orients self to company and contract policies and procedures.
Completes Basic Indoctrination Training as provided in the Pilot Training Program.
Completes FAA ATP/CTP course if required.
Completes B737 Type or Differences course as appropriate.
Other aviation-related duties on behalf of company as assigned.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Must obtain a US DOT/FAA First Class Medical Certificate (with EKG if more than 39 years old).
Must be eligible to begin training for a US DOT/FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with B737 Type rating.
Must have an active US DOD TS/SCI security clearance.
Must obtain a US DHS/TSA LAS airport badge.
Must have a current US Passport or valid US Birth Certificate.
Must have a current US state-issued Driver’s License.
Must comply with all US DOT 14 CFR requirements for pilots, specifically, Parts 60, 61, 67, 117, 120, and 121 including age 65 limit, as amended by the Customer.
Must have logged 1,500 total in-seat hours as a crewmember in fixed-wing powered aircraft.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Training is primarily computer based and as provided by 14 CFR Part 142 Training Center.
