Amentum Navy Logistics Specialist in Norfolk, Virginia
Amentum is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team and help support our customer in Norfolk, VA.
Job responsibilities:
Directly support Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) C4I Systems Division branches C286 and C287 by executing supply chain management functions
Perform inventory management, cataloging, warehouse management, material coordination, data entry, and property control in support of various supply activities and/or equipment installations
Minimum requirements:
Three (3) years of familiarity with the Navy Supply ordering system including researching NSN/Part Numbers and ordering said NSN/Part Numbers, tracking ordered parts, and contacting vendors for quotes on NSN/Part Numbers
Experience ordering material via Naval Supply and MARMC procurement systems
Experience receiving, inventorying, and issuing parts received
Familiarity with One Touch system
Ability to understand and interpret Engineering Drawings
Must have an active secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to maintain a secret clearance.
Preferred experience:
- Experience gained as a collateral duty (RPPO) performed by a junior STG (Surface Sonar Tech) or GM (Gunner’s Mate)
