Amentum Sr. Project Manager in RICHMOND, Virginia
This position is not currently funded and is contingent upon the award of a new contract to Amentum. At this time, Amentum is seeking candidates to fulfill contingent roles. The expected award timeframe is Fall/Winter 2024.
Our innovative and growing company is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Sr. Project Manager. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.
Responsibilities for Sr. Project Manager:
Maintain appropriate fiscal controls to ensure all projects are within the scope of the allocated budget
Provide superior client experience and strengthen relationships with all key stakeholders
Release status reporting and Plan of Record reporting, which includes budget responsibilities and communicating status to project teams and wider stakeholders
Coordinate of readiness for Deployment / Activation
Deliver all relevant project governance documentation & quality assurance
Support work stream leaders in identifying detailed requirements
Define scope, goals, work packages, work streams and deliverables
Design project plans incorporating 3rd party and external dependencies
Design business readiness & acceptance criteria compositions
Chair internal and external meetings, workshops & presentations
Minimum requirements:
Master's degree and 15-20 years of experience with Army logistics management, acquisition operations deployment systems sustainment management, and Department of Defense acquisition management, or equivalent
Excellent strategic planning, communications, problem-solving, execution management, and business communications skills
Leadership, interpersonal, team facilitation, and presentation skillsMS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project)
Must have an active secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to maintain a secret clearance.
Preferred:
- PMP certification
